Betty Volner

MILLER CITY, Ill. -- Betty L. Brown Volner, 69, of Sikeston, Mo., and Miller City, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Oct. 2, 1931, in Miller City to Vegie D. and Velma Louise Hornberger Brown. She married Bill Volner in 1962.

She worked as a secretary for the highway department.

She is survived by her husband of Sikeston.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill. The Rev. Larry Buckles will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
