Betty Sexton

BLODGETT, Mo. -- Betty Lou Sexton, 52, of Blodgett died Friday, July 19, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 27, 1950, in Mattoon, Ill., daughter of Charles and Leola Spurling Bosley Sr. She and Ronald Sexton Sr. were married Nov. 10, 1992.

Sexton was a member of Living Grace Fellowship Church at Miner, Mo., where she was a Sunday School teacher and secretary/treasurer.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronnie Sexton Jr. and Chuck Chesmore of Sikeston, Mo.; three daughters, Kathy Jameson of Fort Smith, Ark., Tawnya Stanley and Krystal Chesmore of Sikeston; a brother, Charles Bosley Jr. of Toledo, Ill.; five sisters, Marilyn Paynter of Oakland, Ill., Nancy Kingery and Charlene McElravy of Toledo, Brenda Bosley of Mattoon, Connie Agiree of California; and eight grandchildren, including Kevin Sexton of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after noon Friday.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Burnes officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
