Funeral for Betty J. May of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Charles Lance will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.

May, 35, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 8, 1963, at Kennett, daughter of Eagen and Novella Smith Green. She and Alex May were married Aug. 19, 1989, in Cape Girardeau.

May received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University.

She worked for the State of Missouri Child Support Enforcement Agency several years, and for the past three years was site manager of Caring Communities at Franklin School. She attended First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Campbell; two brothers, Randy and Harold Green of Campbell; and a sister, Cindy Green of Columbia.
