ADVANCE -- Betty M. Livers, 81, of Advance died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1996, at her home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1915, at Caruthersville, daughter of John and Annie McCarey Glasscock.
She and Tom Livers were married on Aug. 14, 1937, at Bloomfield. He died in July 5, 1988.
She was retired from the Inland Shoe Co. in Advance. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance.
Survivors include a son, Jim Livers of Lebanon, Ky.; a daughter, Sally Ann Bess of Advance; a brother, Austin Glasscock of Newburg; two sisters, Johnnie Rhodes of Beleveder, Ill., and Lois May of Jefferson City; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, a stepsister and three half-brothers.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with a vigil service at 7.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Frederick Lutz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
