BETTY LA BATT

ADVANCE -- Betty LaBatt, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born May 21, 1907 in Advance, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Jane Strange Hedge.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Advance.

She married Paul La Batt on Dec. 23, 1922. He preceded her in death July 6, 1985.

She is survived by a brother, Sam Hedge of Advance.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Morgan funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral service will be Monday at the funeral home at 1 p.m.
