POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Betty Jean Cobb Kirkpatrick, 70, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Glenallen, Mo., died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

She was born Aug. 24, 1937, at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Everett M. "Jack" and Opal Mae Underwood Cobb.

Kirkpatrick was a member of Glenallen Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Gerry "Bo" Kirkpatrick of Poplar Bluff; four daughters, Judy Kirkpatrick and Jeannie Becker, both of Poplar Bluff, Cindy Hart and Kimberly Sisco, both of Doniphan, Mo.; a brother, Jackie Cobb of Morris, Ill.; a sister, Janice Proffer of Glenallen; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the McGee Chapel Cemetery in Grassy.
