Betty Kasten

PERRYVILLE, Mo.--Betty L. Kasten, 69, of Perryville died Friday, June 21, 2002, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1933, at Menfro, Mo., daughter of Alvin G. and Alma E. Ochs Hoehn. She and Paul W. Kasten were married June 24, 1951, at Perryville.

Kasten was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Concordia Ladies Aid in Perryville. She was also a former member of Peace Lutheran Church, a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Historical Society in Friedenberg.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, LaDonna Wills of Perryville and Beverly Erdmann of Baldwin, Ill.; one son, Wayne Kasten of Perryville; one brother, Walter Hoehn of Perryville; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel from 4-9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate, with burial at Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery in Friedenberg.
