DEXTER -- Betty Jo Jarrell, 71, of Dexter died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Quanah, Texas, the daughter of William and Velma Jewell Curlee Johnson. She married John Richard Jarrell at Fort Worth, Texas, on July 9, 1977. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Word of God Church of Dexter.
She also is survived by three sons, William Francis Dollins, Troy Lane Dollins and David Earl Dollins, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Linda Kay Cagle of Oklahoma City; one stepson, Claud Gene Jarrell of Pasadena, Texas; one stepdaughter, Tonya Marie Swihart of Pasadena, Texas; two brothers, William J. Johnson and Robert L. Johnson, both of Lawton, Okla.; and 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rainey Funeral Home Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Pete Moseby of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will be at the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery.
