BETTY J. HOWARD

Betty J. Howard, 54, 706 S. Sprigg, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Murphysboro, Ill., daughter of Elvin and Cora Maglone Thomas. She married Donald Howard Dec. 29, 1955, in Cape Girardeau.

Howard was a member of Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Donald Howard Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Parrish and Jennifer Howard, all of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Ellen Bruggerman of Columbia, Ill., Wilma Hamilton of Steelville, Ill., Carol Thomas and Linda Thomas of Murphysboro, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the funeral home today and Saturday from 4-8 p.m.
