Betty June Fox Hoppe, 74, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at her home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 1, 1926, at Springfield, Mo., daughter of Cecil and Ethel McBride. She and James A. Fox were married April 4, 1943, in Springfield, Mo. He died March 3, 1973. She and Charles Hoppe were married Nov. 23, 1984, in Cape Girardeau.
Hoppe was a member of First Assembly of God Church and its choir and praise and worship team.
She worked for Dr. Bob Fox from 1975-1986 as secretary and receptionist.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dr. Bob Fox of Cape Girardeau and Dr. Michael Fox of Marshfield, Mo.; a daughter, Janet A. Bates of Pleasant View, Tenn.; a brother, Darrell McBride of Keyport, Wash.; and a sister, Jacqueline Breedlove of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Charles Lance and Sam Ramdial officiating.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Mo.
