BETTY GREEN

JACKSON -- Betty Francis Green, 56, of Jackson died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1942, at Patton, daughter of Elvin and Freedie Cook Long. She and Dewey Green were married July 29, 1967, at Patton. He died April 16, 1992.

Green worked at Jackson Manor in the laundry department. She was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church at Little Whitewater.

She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Welker of Patton, Candy Wilfong of Marble Hill and Brandy Green of Jackson; a brother, Perry Long of Patton; two sisters, Elcie Pulliam and Clodene Statler, both of Patton; and two grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Don Estes and Randy Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Pulliam Cemetery.
