Betty Dodd

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Betty F. Dodd, 50, of Sedgewickville died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at her home.

She was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Perry County, daughter of Everett F. and Pauline Coomer Upchurch. She and Paul L. Dodd were married June 16, 1990.

Dodd was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Paul Dodd II of Mountain View, Mo.; three daughters, Vickie Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Sheila Upchurch of Perryville, Mo., Paula Lee of Kansas City, Mo.; three stepsons, Robert, Leroy and Mike Dodd of Perryville; two stepdaughters, Helen Winschel of Apple Creek, Mo., Betty Weinkein of Perryville; her mother of Perryville; two brothers, Billy Upchurch of Fruitland, Steven Upchurch of Perryville; a sister, Debbie Welker of Perryville; and 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to time of service.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
