Betty Cox

Betty Lee Cox, 69, of St. Charles, Mo., died April 30, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.

She was born Dec. 8, 1940, daughter of William and Mary Rose. She and John E. Cox were united in marriage in 1955 in Dexter, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2006.

Betty was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, John Cox of St. Charles, Eddie Cox of O'Fallon, Mo., and Tim Cox of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Diana Thurber of New Mellie, Mo., and Barbara Zehr of St. Charles; a brother, Jay Rose of Crump, Mo.; a sister, Della Kilburn of Chaffee, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the chapel.

Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
