Schwartz, 70, died Tuesday, March 23, 1993, at Surry Place Nursing Home in Chesterfield.

She was born July 16, 1922, at New Madrid, daughter of Alvin and Katie Hubbard Brinkman. She and George A. Schwartz were married Nov. 22, 1944. They moved to Manchester in 1966 from Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; a son, George Schwartz Jr. of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Sue Schwartz of Manchester, and a grandson.
