DEXTER -- Bethel R. Harbin, 86, of Herculaneum, died Sunday, April 17, 1994, at Westview Nursing Center there.
She was born Nov. 21, 1907, at Bloomfield, daughter of Noah Lee and Ida Mae Ellis Woods. She lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield area until moving to St. Louis in 1927 and then to Herculaneum in 1988.
Harbin worked in the office at Endicott-Johnson Shoe Co. in St. Louis many years, and was a member of Southwest Church of the Nazarene there.
Survivors include four sons, James Harbin of Bremerton, Wash., Robert Harbin of Mesa, Ariz., Paul Harbin of St. Louis, Elmer Harbin of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; a sister, Bernice Fitzgerald of Herculaneum; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Homel in Dexter after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
