MORLEY, Mo. — Beth Allen, 47, of Morley joined the heavenly choir Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 10, 1976, to David and Gloria McMahon Hodge in Marion, Indiana. On Feb. 11, 1998, she married Kenneth Allen in Indianapolis.

Beth was a member of LifePoint Worship Center in Jackson, where she often used her beautiful singing voice in worship services and singing specials. She also helped in the music program at Crossroads Ministries in Cape Girardeau.

Beth enjoyed being with her family and friends and loved those around her, always looking forward to the next church trip or family dinner. She was an active volunteer at Chaffee (Missouri) Nutrition Center.

Beth leaves behind her husband, Kenneth Allen of Morley; father, David Hodge of Marion; sister, Deenie (Mark) Lawrence of Kingsville, Texas; brother, Robert (Gina) Grim of Mustang, Oklahoma; aunt, Sharon Hancock of Houston; mother-in-law, Ann Allen of Morley; sister-in-law, Lori Haase of Bismarck, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Hodge; sisters, Bevelyn Grim and Sue Lynn Hodge; and grandparents.

A celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at LifePoint Worship Center in Jackson, with John Ruedrich, Stephen Niswonger and Tom Godwin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel.
