Bessie Molnar, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Nov. 20, 1904, in the Philippines. She had worked as an electrician in the shipyards in California.
Survivors include a son, Lyman Halbin of Brazoria, Texas; five grandchildren, Lyman Cartner of Tamms, Ill., Darryl Ross of Mount Vernon, Ill., Dan Harpole of Texas, Mike Harpole of Peoria, Ill., and Brian Harpole of Cape Girardeau; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Mount Zion Cemetery near Olive Branch, Ill., with the Rev. Carl Dillow officiating.
