BERTHA WOLFE

JACKSON, Mo. -- Private graveside service for Bertha E. Wolfe of Chaffee, Mo., formerly of Jackson, will be held today at City Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond McAfee will officiate.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Wolfe, 81, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 23, 1919, at Ellsinore, Mo., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Boyer. She married Abraham Wolfe, who preceded her in death.

Wolfe was a member of Hope General Baptist Church at Grandin, Mo.

Survivors include two sisters, Florence Gooch of Whitewater, Mo., and Alma Nance of Highland, Ill.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
