ADVANCE -- Bertha May Kight, 82, of Advance, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 1995, at Advance Nursing Care Center.
She was born Nov. 7, 1912, in Advance, daughter of Marion and Sylvia Day Garrett. On Feb. 28, 1933, she married Charles C. Kight at Advance. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 1978.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church here.
Survivors include a son, Charles L. Kight, Advance Route 2; three sisters, Myrtle Bollinger of Poplar Bluff, Gladys Craft of Doniphan, Bernice Ford of Affton; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
