WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Bertha M. Harris, 98, Wolf Lake Route 1, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1993, at her home. She was born July 12, 1895, at Anna, daughter of William and Sarah Winn Spiller. She and William Harris were married March 20, 1913. He died Jan. 13, 1982...

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Bertha M. Harris, 98, Wolf Lake Route 1, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1993, at her home.

She was born July 12, 1895, at Anna, daughter of William and Sarah Winn Spiller. She and William Harris were married March 20, 1913. He died Jan. 13, 1982.

Harris was a member of Ware United Methodist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Elsie Belcher and Nola Wenger of Wolf Lake, Ethel Chrismer of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Dorothy Hileman and Helen Dodd of Jonesboro; two sons, Earl Harris of Lincoln, Wayne Harris of Wolf Lake; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro. The Rev. John Prather will officiate, with burial in Alto Pass Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
