ANNA, Ill. -- Bernice L. Dale, 92, of Anna, formerly of Dongola, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, at Union County Hospital. She was born April 17, 1902, in Gifford, Ark., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Silvers. She married George Dale, who died June 6, 1950...

ANNA, Ill. -- Bernice L. Dale, 92, of Anna, formerly of Dongola, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, at Union County Hospital.

She was born April 17, 1902, in Gifford, Ark., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Silvers. She married George Dale, who died June 6, 1950.

Dale was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Phoenix, Ariz.

Survivors include three sons, Alonzo Dale of Anna, Guy Dale of Dongola, Edward Dale of Boiling Spring Lakes, N.C.; three daughters, Rita Dale of Marion, Lois Hunley of Anna, Barbara Downs of Marion; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and Friday until service time.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Myron Dillow officiating. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery.
