BERNICE C. THIERET

PERRYVILLE -- Bernice C. Thieret, 76, of Perryville, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1994, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born March 25, 1918 in Belgique, the daughter of John and Lillian Stiens L'Hote.

She married Howard J. Thieret Oct. 27, 1937.

She was a homemaker and a member and organist of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. She was a member of the church Sodality and Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors are her husband; five sons, Dale, Gary, Kevin and Denny Thieret, all of Perryville, and Allen Thieret, Lake Ozark; four daughters, Karen Ellis, Perryville, Darlene Hayden, Hillsboro, Marilyn Hoffman, St. Charles, and Carol Miserocchi, all of St. Louis; a brother, Homer L'Hote, Columbia; two sisters, Leona Grossi, St. Louis, and Rita Kiefer, Perryville; 31 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. Tuesday. A wake service will be held at the funeral chapel at 7 p.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno by the Rev. Francis Agnew. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
