PUXICO -- Beril Trout, 69, of Puxico died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born at White Oak on April 11, 1927, son of James Ora and Dottie Mae Wright Trout.
He had moved to Puxico at age 15 and had worked for the IXL Manufacturing for 27 years. He had retired from farming and had served in the Army during the Korean War.
On Feb. 23, 1951, he married Alberta Stewart at Piggott, Ark.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Thomas Trout of Puxico and Dwayne Trout of O'Fallon; a daughter, Barbara Willcut of Puxico; two brother, J.W. Trout of Puxico and Thomas Earl Trout of Dexter; ;five sisters, Mary Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Opal Wilson of Imperial, Virginia Lambert of Dexter and Leatrice Limbaugh and Mavis Gray, both of Puxico; and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. William Webster officiating. Burial ;will be in the Puxico Cemetery.
