Belinda K. Hopper Pohlman, 39, of Sedgewickville, Mo., died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 18, 1971, in Cape Girardeau to Wayne A. and Marilyn L. Yarbro Hopper. She graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1990.

She and Tim S. Pohlman were life partners 17 years.

Belinda was employed by Spartech Plastics in Cape Girardeau 21 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Perryville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Pohlman of Sedgewickville; three sons, Scott Wayne Pohlman, Brandon Alfred Pohlman and Garrett Anthony Pohlman of the home; her mother, Marilyn Hopper of Wappapello, Mo.; three brothers, Jimmie Heavener, Charles Heavener and Gary Heavener.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Hopper; a daughter, Brittani Nichole Pohlman; and grandmother, Lois Yarbro.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.

Burial will be in Lixville Cemetery at Sedgewickville.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
