Bedith C. "Bea" Henson, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 3, 1925, in Linden, Tenn., to Bernard and Ester Hunt Little. She married W.T. Woods, the father of her children. She later married Bob Ralph and Cleatus Henson, who both preceded her in death.
She was a member of Cape First Church and the JOY group of the church. She worked many years in home health care. For years she worked Super Saturday children's program at House of Hope in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by a son, William (Bonnie) Woods of Columbia, Mo.; three daughters, Joann (Jim) Young of Venice, Fla., Marilyn Kavouras of Sacramento, Calif., Connie (Chap) Arnold of Scott City; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Cape First Church.
The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the church, with Pastor Gary Brothers officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Garden of Memories in Sikeston, Mo.
Crain Funeral Home, 829 N. West End Blvd. in Cape Girardeau, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Grief Care Net or JOY Group of Cape First Church, and will be accepted at the church.
