Beatrice Parrish, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Dover, Tenn., daughter of Allen M. and Lockey M. Fitzhugh Thomason. She and Elzie Parrish were married Nov. 2, 1945. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Rick and James Parrish of Cape Girardeau, Marvin Parrish of Hartford, Ill.; a daughter, Faith Parrish of Glen Carbon, Ill.; two brothers, Eugene Thomason of Edwardsville, Ill., Donald Thomason of Granite City, Ill.; six sisters, Alene Robertson and Marcella Doyle of Granite City, Nona Harris and Virginia Joiner of Dover, Marjorie Wallace of Hesperia, Calif., Sallie Newman of Union, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount View Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dover, with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of local arrangements.
