Funeral for Beatrice L. McMullin of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
McMullin, 86, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Jan. 4, 1915, at Morley, Mo., daughter of Amos and Maggie Elizabeth Bryant McMullin.
McMullin was an elementary school teacher more than 50 years at Scott County, Park Hills and St. Louis public schools. She taught Sunday School at Shriners Hospital in St. Louis, and was a member of Missouri State Teachers Association.
She had lived in Cape Girardeau four years, and was a member of First Church of God.
Survivors include three brothers, Donald McMullin of Cape Girardeau, Dean McMullin of Carson City, Nev., Amos McMullin of Springfield, Ill.; two sisters, Colletta Koch of Cape Girardeau, and Irean Williams of Louisburg, N.C.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
