Beatrice Hindman

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Beatrice Hindman, 86, of Advance died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 30, 1919, at Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Oscar and Thelma Virgin Speer. She and Raymond L. Hindman were married Feb. 18, 1937, at Brownwood. He died May 15, 1968.

Hindman was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Hindman of Advance, Ray Hindman of Sikeston, Mo.; a daughter, LaVeda Berry of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Doyle Speer of Fredericktown, Mo.; three sisters, Rita Blanton of Advance, Maxine Shell of Dexter, Wanda Romeno of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Payne officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
