TAMMS, Ill. -- Beatrice Elizabeth Bell, 81, of Tamms, died Thursday, July 21, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 13, 1913, at Benton, Mo., daughter of Charles and Lina Mae Minter Knezle. She and Elmer Lee Bell were married Sept. 22, 1928, at Benton.

Bell was a retired machine operator from Ely Walker in Scott City, Mo. She moved to Tamms 20 years ago from Commerce, Mo. She was a member of Tamms Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Maudie Shrodes of Dupo; a half brother, Charles Knezle Jr. of Marble Hill, Mo.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
