MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Beatrice Leavern Blackwell, 83, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at her son's home in Marble Hill.
She was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Corning, Arkansas, to Glenn and Rena Bolen Wallace.
She worked as a lab technician for Procter & Gamble before retiring in 1996.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include a son, Darrell (Carol) Blackwell of Marble Hill; a brother, Bill (Pat) Wallace of Jackson; and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, oldest son and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice or the American Cancer Society.
