Barry McBride

Barry Wayne McBride, son to the late Edward Eugene "Gene" and Mary "Maxine" Burson McBride, was born Dec. 1, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in Cape Girardeau at the age of 70 years surrounded by his loving family.

He married Susie Mier on Jan. 28, 1972, and she survives of the home.

Barry was a route salesman until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Susie McBride; two daughters, Alyshia McClendon of Sikeston, Missouri, and Amy (Andy) Blattel of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Carolyn McBride of Morley, Missouri; five grandchildren, Owen and Ty Blattel, Lyndsey McClendon, Jacob Lovel and Joshua McClendon.

Besides his parents, Barry was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Ronnie McBride.

Celebration of life visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Compassion Church, 100 Outlet Drive, Suite 7, in Sikeston, with the Rev. Frank Worthington officiating.
