Barbara Stoker- Rushing

Barbara Stoker- Rushing, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Nov. 25, 1943, in Cow Lake, Arkansas to H. G. "Blue" and Derothle Lee Majors Combs.

She was a graduate of Newport High School.

She was an office manager at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery for 33 years.

Barbara loved to read, play bunco and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Tonya (Lee) Lummus of Jackson, Marla Benton of Cape Girardeau and Heather (Anthony) Birsinger of Naperville, Illinois; two brothers, Joe Combs of West Memphis, Arkansas and Donnie Combs of Balch, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Jacob Birsinger, Lucas Birsinger and Emma Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marcus Wade Stoker Jr.; brother, Bill Combs; sister, Earline Smith.

Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Larry Dowdy officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
