VIENNA, Ill. -- Barbara E. Rose, 38, of Dickson, Tenn., and a former resident of Johnson County, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, near Centerville, Tenn., as the result of an automobile accident. VIENNA, Ill. -- Barbara E. Rose, 38, of Dickson, Tenn., and a former resident of Johnson County, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, near Centerville, Tenn., as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born Jan. 13, 1964, in Marion, Ill., the daughter of Bill and Betty Dixon and Homer and Gloria Baker. She married Steven Rose on Aug. 22, 1992, in Vienna. He survives.

She was employed as a quality assurance inspector at Fiesta Gas Grills in Dickson. She also recently was hired as a substitute teacher in the Dickson County Schools. She previously was employed as a waitress at the Jolly Red Pig Restaurant in Vienna.

Survivors include her parents; a son, W. Garrett Gray of Dickson; a daughter, Elizabeth LaShelle Rose of Dickson; four brothers, Edward Andrew Dixon of Benton, Ky., Kevin Lynn Dixon of Makanda, Ill., Kenneth William Dixon of Lick Creek, Ill., and George William Dixon of Marion; and two sisters, Donna Boney of Vienna and Pam Franklin of Paducah, Ky.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tim Blankenship and Travis Rose officiating.

Burial will be at Bridges Cemetery southwest of Vienna.
