Barbara Sue McIntyre, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 4, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Sikeston to Dorman and Georgia Smith Buck. She married Gary McIntyre 50 years ago Feb. 2, 1974, in Illmo.

She is survived by her husband, Gary McIntyre; son, Matthew (Veronica) McIntyre, and her grandchildren, Uilleam and Ronan McIntyre of Cape Girardeau; brother, George Buck of Claremore, Oklahoma; and sister, Carol Swinford of Chaffee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
