Amanda Barbara Hartman, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 21, 1916, at Oran, daughter of Henry J. and Gertrude Seesing Engelen. She and Harold D. Hartman were married May 9, 1946, in Piggott, Ark.

Hartman moved to Cape Girardeau in 1954 from Oran. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jay Jung officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
