Barbara Eatmon

MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Barbara Jane Eatmon, 68, of Mound City died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 15, 1940, at Smithland, Ky., daughter of Roy Leon and Glenna Sauvage Lemon.

Eatmon was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mound City and a retired manager of a convenience store.

Survivors include three sons, Paul E. Dover Jr. and Neal Dover, both of Grand Chain, Ill., and Sam Wilburn of Park Hills, Mo.; two daughters, Delena Hannan of Rising Sun, Ind., Lorri Loker of Grand Chain, Ill.; a brother, Paul Lemon of Bardwell, Ky.; a sister, Dianna Feist of Farmington, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. John Windings will officiate, with burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain.
