ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Ava I. Morgan, 78, of Anna, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Randy Morgan will officiate, with burial in Anna City Cemetery.

Morgan, 78, died Friday, March 27, 1992, at her home.

She was born Sept. 4, 1913, at Poyner, Mo., daughter of W.M. and Ada Elizabeth Smith Wright. She married Charles F. Morgan Sr. July 3, 1937, at Neelyville, Mo. He died March 11, 1992.

Survivors include a son, Charles Morgan Jr. of Anna; a brother, Denzil Wright of Corning, Ark.; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
