AUDREY R. KELLEY

SIKESTON -- Audrey R. Kelley, 76, of Sikeston, died Thursday, April 6, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Moline, Ill., daughter of Olaf A. and Jewell Tyer Allen. She and James O. Kelley were married April 3, 1936, in Charleston. He died Aug. 6, 1981.

Kelley was a teacher's aide at Matthews Elementary School and at Lee Hunter Elementary School in Sikeston. She also had worked for the city welfare office and United Way of Sikeston.

She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church, and member of the Foster Grandparent program.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Kelley of Sikeston, Ray Kelley of Benton; a half brother, Robert Allen of Premont, Texas; a half sister, June Terry of Riverview, Fla.; her stepmother, Lucille Allen of New Madrid; a stepbrother, Bill Allen of Hannahan, S.C., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Murray Lane Church, with the Rev. Kelley Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
