AUDREY GUNTER

Funeral service for Audrey Dean Gunter, 2312 Jane, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. John Owen will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Gunter, 70, died Tuesday, June 25, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 6, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Harry Edward and Ora Bell Fenimore Withers. She and S.A. Gunter were married July 4, 1945, in Cape Girardeau.

Gunter was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was cradle roll coordinator and member of Etta Upchurch Sunday School Class many years.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ellen McDowell of Lees Summit, Gayla Gunter of Cape Girardeau; a brother, W.R. Withers of Cape Girardeau, and a granddaughter.
