PERRYVILLE -- Aubrey L. 'Pete' Denton, 87, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at Gracemont Care Center in Perryville. He was born March 5, 1910, at Poplar Bluff. He and Muriel E. Denton were married. She died in 1984. He is survived by a number of nephews and nieces...

PERRYVILLE -- Aubrey L. 'Pete' Denton, 87, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at Gracemont Care Center in Perryville.

He was born March 5, 1910, at Poplar Bluff.

He and Muriel E. Denton were married. She died in 1984.

He is survived by a number of nephews and nieces.

Denton was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

He had been a gardener at the Jewel Box in St. Louis until his retirement.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. today.

Service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville with the Rev. Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery at Perryville.
