Arthur E. Vredenburgh, 89, of Imperial, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Danbury, Conn., son of George and Lydia Miller Vredenburgh. He and Freda H. Skiles were married Sept. 24, 1960, in Detroit, Mich.
Vredenburgh worked as a commercial printer. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge 172 in Dearborn, Mich., and Masonic Lodge 641 in St. Louis.
He served in the U.S. Navy from Dec. 12, 1942, to Dec. 12, 1946.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, formerly of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Doyle W. Randol will officiate. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Ill., with full military rites by Missouri Military Honor Guard.
