GLEN ALLEN -- Arthur Winford Marler, 76, of Glen Allen died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Washington County, son of George and Susie Hagger Marler.

Marler was a retired laborer, and attended McGee Chapel. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include four children, Sharon Reeves, Judy Cox, Arthur and Joey Marler; three sisters, Argene Boyer of Old Mines, Lucy Ross of Linn Creek, Liza Boyer of Festus; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery at Glen Allen.
