PERRYVILLE -- Arthur D. Statler, 83, of Perryville died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at Perry Oaks Health Center.

He was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Lixville, the son of Barney C. and Mary J. Fellows Statler.

Statler was a member of the Sedgewickville Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce A. Besand of Perryville, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30-9 a.m. Wednesday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sedgewickville Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
