Arthur D. Province, 75, 2553 Meadow Lane, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1919, at Irondale, son of David S. and Myrtle P. French Province. He and Elaine Ingram Acreback were married Oct. 30, 1960, in East Prairie.
Province was employed 37 years with Missouri Conservation Commission, retiring in 1984 as supervisor of the southeast region. He was a member of the Christian Church, Missouri Peace Officers Association, and National Rifle Assocition.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Acreback of Arlington, Texas; two daughters, Judith Caleca of St. Louis, Ardith Henson of Farmington; a sister, Opal Will of Cuba, Mo.; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Chaplain Arthur Kelley officiating. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Marcus Memorial Park in Fredericktown.
