Funeral service for Arlie May Davis of Jonesboro, Ark., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Bill Benefield will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until service time.
Davis, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born Feb. 9, 1907, at Delta, daughter of John D. and Liddie Smith Mahaffey. She married Virgil Davis, who died Feb. 4, 1962.
Davis worked at International Shoe Co. 30 years, and was a cook at Palmer House Restaurant 20 years. She moved to Jonesboro two years ago from Cape Girardeau.
Survivors are nieces and nephews, including Bob Oliver of Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
