Arlene Hartline Garrott, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born March 8, 1922, in Tamms, Ill., daughter of Eugene and Reba Smith Hartline. She married Wayne Wallace Garrott. He died in 1992.

Garrott was a member of East Cape Baptist Church. She had been a cook at Denny's IGA.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Lemons and Carol Rose of Zalma, Mo.; a son, Cletus Garrott of Moberly, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter and a sister.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at Dongola, Ill.
