EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Arlene Duty, 63, of East Prairie died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Macon, Ga., daughter of Turner and Carrie Young Scarboro. She and Edward Morgan were married Sept. 10, 1991.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Shelton Long of East Prairie; seven stepsons, Edward Morgan Jr. of Buckeye, Ariz., Dennis and Danny Morgan of Sikeston, David Morgan of St. Louis, Dale Morgan of Riverside, Calif., Clifford and Fred Duty of East Prairie; two stepdaughters, Diane Cain of Charleston, Mo., Debbie McCurter of East Prairie; a sister, Betty Renew of Martinez, Ga.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 23 stepgrandchildren; and 17 great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, seven brothers, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jon Archie officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
