CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Arlen Russell Pettit of Chaffee will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Maurice Eagan will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
Pettit, 48, died Thursday, June 10, 1993, at his home.
He was born July 26, 1944, at West Branch, Mich., son of Syrles Edward and Dorothy Ione Thomas Pettit.
Pettit was a retired truck driver with Grezeszak Dairy Transport in Rose City, Mich. He was a former pilot with the U.S. Merchant Marines, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Pettit of Texas; two brothers, Alton Pettit of Prescott, Ariz., Alvin Pettit of Marble Hill; three sisters, Eueline Branan and Edwina McKay of Flint, Mich., and Sue Pettit of Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
