Ardella J. Anderson, 98, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at Fountain-bleau Lodge.
She was born July 4, 1916, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Benjamin and Mary Jenkins. She and Harley S. Anderson were married Sept. 4, 1933, at Caruthersville, Missouri. He preceded her in death March 9, 1999.
Ardella was a member of First Baptist Church of Caruthersville. She had been a foreman at Brown Shoe Co. in Caruthersville.
Survivors include a son, Norman S. (Wanda) Anderson of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Todd Anderson of Jackson and Tonya (Chris) Mickan of Gordonville; five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Madlyn Anderson, Austin, Benjamin and Clayton Mickan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
