ARDELL LALUMONDIERE

PERRYVILLE -- Ardell A. Lalumondiere, 75, of Perryville died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, at his home.

He was born July 18, 1924, at Ste. Genevieve, son of Harry J. and Catherine Trottman Lalumondiere. He and Christine LaRose were married Nov. 19, 1959.

He was a member of the Baptist Trinity Church at St. Mary and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a knife sharpener for Pittsburg Kneene.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Hammers of Modoc, Ill., Linda Bauer of Evansville, Ill., and Nee-Cee Boxdorfer of Perryville; two sons, Clifford Dobbs of Brewer and Norman Dobbs of Perryville; three sisters, Mildred Lalumondiere of Barnhardt, twin sister Adell Davis of Piedmont and Dorothy Worley of Ste. Genevieve; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, six brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home at Perryville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate, with burial to follow at the Home Cemetery.
